Here is some of my audio work.

I work for WKAR, the NPR station at Michigan State University. I started working as the All Things Considered intern fall of my freshman year in college. During my time, I've created features that have played on Morning Edition and All Things Considered. I've also produced episodes of Serving Up Science, a WKAR podcast about everything food. I also voice the weather. Previously, it was for Weekend Edition, but now it's for overnights and All Things Considered.

Roundabout Series

Rising Legacy Costs in Lansing
Marijuana in the Capitol Area
Drawing Businesses/Residents to the City
These features are from an award winning WKAR series called Roundabout. At the Michigan Association of Broadcasters in 2020, Roundabout won first place in the Daily Newscast/News Feature category, and it won honorable mention in the current events program category. WKAR's Abigail Censky, Maxim Jenkins and I created six features informing Lansing and East Lansing residents about the views of their respective city council candidates before the 2019 election. The topics discussed for the Lansing city council candidates are legacy costs, marijuana's impact on the city and bringing businesses and people to the Lansing-area. These are the features I voiced.

The 2020 Women's March in Lansing, Michigan

Approximately 250 people endured the wintry weather to participate in the 3rd annual women's march. I covered the Lansing Women's March with Politics and Government Reporter Abigail Censky.

Tunde Olaniran Feature

This is a feature about Flint performer Tunde Olaniran. He was interiewed by WKAR's Karel Vega. He later appeared on WKAR-TV's program Backstage Pass.

The Dangers of Stress Eating and how to Fight the Urge.

Whenever you’re stressed at work or school, do you ever catch yourself reaching for a bag of chips or candy? Or are you ever so lost in your work that you don’t realize you’re snacking?

The Legend of the Jack-o'-Lantern

Even though jack-o'-lanterns aren't food, pumpkins are. This episode of Serving Up Science was made for Halloween and it follows the history of the jack-o'-lantern, and how its seeds can make a tasty snack to balance out the sugar from Halloween candy.
